Remington, Model 81, 35 REM CAL, MFG. 1950, SN: 51082, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, having been lightly sanded & very nicely refinished. There are very few minor handling marks or light & contusions remaining. The metal is slightly proud to the wood in the area of the wrist. The original metal blue finish rates 85% overall, but with loss due to speckled haze throughout. The barrel carries a Marble's folding rear rear & ivory bead front blade sights. Bore is excellent. Stock carries the Remington checkered metal buttplate. 4 rd fixed magazine. An excellent presenting standard 81 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
