Remington, Model 81, 300 SAV. CAL, MFG. 1950, SN: 53794, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are very good, having been sanded & nicely refinished. The metal is proud to the wood at the tangs, receiver & buttplate. There remains minor scuffs, scratches & contusions, along with a tight 1'' stress crack at the piont of the comb. The original metal blue finish rates 85% overall, with most of the loss due to egde wear, scratches & minor abrasions. The barrel carries standard rear & front sights. Bore is excellent. Stock carries the Remington checkered metal buttplate. 4 rd fixed magazine. Overall s sharp looking standard 81 rifle. FFL or C&R Req, - Value: 500 to 800
