Ruger, Model 10/22 M1 Carbine Tribute, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: Modern, SN: 0020-22549, Semi Auto Rifle, 18 1/2'' barrel. Among the most useful, reliable, and practically accurate .22 caliber rifles made is the Ruger 10/22. Introduced in 1964, the Ruger 10/22 has become the most popular .22 rimfire rifle in America. The M1 .30 Carbine was used in World II, Korea, & Vietnam & is a highly collectible firearm. Light, handy, & firing a mid range cartridge, the M1 carbine was the first low-maintenance military rifle & the first issued with non-corrosive ammunition. Ruger has introduced a version of the rifle that is similar in appearance to the M1 Carbine. The Ruger 10/22 M1 version isnt a reproduction as it is chambered in .22 Long Rifle, but it is fittingly called a tribute to the M1. The flat pistol grip M1 style wood stocks are excellent, with virtually no handling marks to the excellent original flat oil finish. The stock includs a slot in the rear of the stock that allows the use of a sling in the original M1 carbine manner, along with the sling loop on the forearm barrel band. The metal blue finish rates 100%. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries a M1 style aperture type rear sight & a picatinney rail, while the barrel holds a the M1 blade sight with protective flared wings. Buttstock carries a smooth plastic buttplate. Comes in Ruger's replica U.S. marked tan canvas carry bag & ammo pouch. Excellent overall condition. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 600
