Marlin Model 989 M2, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1965-67, SN: None, Semi Auto Rifle, 18'' barrel. The 989 M2 is a variation of the model 99, with the wood stock styling of the famous M1& similar to the 99 M1, but the 989 M2 is detachable mag fed. Although the rifle was produced from 1965-78, this earlier variation without a serial number was produced from 1965-67. The original flat pistol grip stock & heat shield are excellent, displaying a few minor nicks, scrapes & dings the restored wood finish. The metal surfaces have all been restored with a Japan black finish which rates 97% overall. The micro grooved bore is excellent. Receiver holds an a Center Point 4X32 scope ramp/blade front sight. Buttstock carries a factory Marlin, black checkered buttplate. Sling swivels. Marlin trademark Bullseye in stock. Gold tone trigger. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
