RARE Winchester, Model 61 Smoothbore, Marked .22 L. Rifle FOR SHOT ONLY, MFG. 1949, SN: 129277, Pump Action Take-down Rifle, 24'' Tapered round smoothbore barrel. Barrel opening is slightly larger at the muzzle than a standard .22 S.L.LR. diameter. The smoothbore makes this one of the rarest variations of the pump Winchester .22's produced. The factory flat knob pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, with very few blemishes to the fantastic original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 95% overall. Bore is excellent & bright, Bead only sight. Winchester checkered metal buttplate. A rare smoothbore which is highly desired by collectors. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 3000 to 5000
