RARE Winchester, Model 61, Marked .22 LONG R. Cal., MFG: 1932 (1st year production), SN: 6739, Pump Action Rifle, Rare 24'' Octagon barrel. Rarer single caliber configuration. The original flat pistol grip wood stock & forearm are excellent. Has the early production small corncob forearm, with the flat belly & tapered tip. The original finish is excellent, with few small handling marks or minor contusions. The original metal blue finish is 97% overall, with wear loss due pump action & small edge loss. Factory front & rear sights. Bore is excellent, with defined rifling. Buttstock carries a checkered metal buttplate. A highly collectible, all original, 1st yr example of an original octagon, single caliber 61. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3000 to 5000
