Marlin, Model 81DL, .22 S, L, LR Cal., MFG. 1940-65, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel, Full mag tube, The original flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, with small scrapes, contusions & scratches to a combination of the original finish & an added layer of additional finish. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray on the barrel & receiver, with a thin brown patina. The blue on the mag tube rates rates 60%. Bore is excellent & bright. Original buttplate. The receiver is fitted with an adjustable aperture receiver sight, while the barrel carries a bland filled rear dovetail & an updated aperture & blade front sight. Two open holes in stock from sling loop removal. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 150 to 300
