CASED Winchester Model 21- Standard Grade: Two-Barrel Set (Symbol G2100B), CAL: 20 GA, MFG: 1937, SN: 9110, Break Action SxS Shotgun.
Barrel #1: 28'', raised matted rib, steel mid rib bead & white front bead. Left tube stamped with the standard name/address stamp & the right tube is marked ''MODEL-21 WINCHESTER-20 GUAGE 3'' ''. Bottom of barrels marked ''WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL'', choke size (F/MOD) & proofs. Bores are excellent.
Barrel #2: 28'', raised matted rib, steel mid rib bead & white front bead. Left tube is stamped ''WINCHESTER - 20 GUAGE''. Bottom of barrels marked ''WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL'', choke size (Skeet/Skeet) & proofs. Bores are excellent.
Wood: The deluxe grade, fancy walnut stocks displays fantastic rippled & feathered grain. The straight grip stock & beavertail forend features fine hand checkering & maintains nearly all the original finish. Single forend for the set. Stock carries a solid red rubber recoil pad.
Finish: The original blued finish on the frame rates 95% on the sides/top & 75% on the bottom. The trigger guard rates 50%, with concentrated wear at the handling points. The original blued finish on barrel #1 rates 90%. The original blued finish on barrel #2 rates 95%.
Measurements: Weight: 6lbs 10 oz. LOP: 14'', DAC: 1 1/2'', DAH: 2''.
Comes in a non-factory hard case, with butterscotch exterior, burgundy interior & brown leather straps, includes case key & snap caps. Additionally, this set comes with a Cody Firearms Museum Factory Letter, confirming the current configuration, age & other pertinent details.
With approximately only 40,000 Model 21 shotguns produced in all grades & all model 21's being custom ordered, they are often considered the pinnacle of Winchester shotgun collecting. FFL Req - Value: 6000 to 12000
