Parker Bros, VH Grade, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1929, SN: 233387, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 32'' barrels. The barrels & frame carry standard factory markings. The checkered round knob wood stock & beavertail forend are good & solid, having been altered & refinished. The stock was cut & a Monte Carlo comb was added. There are a couple dark shims under the tail of the alteration, alongside other dings & scrapes to the applied finish. Inlaid blank silver sheild nameplate in belly. The blued finish on the barrels rates 90% coverage, with thinning toned to a brown patina & some intermittent spotting/speckling. The case-hardened frame retains visible, but faded case-colors, with areas worn to metal gray & spotting toned to a brown patina. The trigger guard is mostly worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina, with remnants of blue. Bores are excellent, with light wear marks from use. The ventilated rib holds a white mid-rib bead & tan front bead. Stock has spacers & a ventilated red rubber recoil pad. Single selective trigger. LOP: 13 1/2'', DAH: 2 1/8'', DAC: 1 5/8''.
