L.C. Smith, Field Grade, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1945/46, SN: 205745, Break Action SxS Shotgun, Choke: F/MOD,30'' barrels. Standard factory markings on the frame & barrel. The original checkered flat pistol grip stock is excellent. The original finish is excellent. The original blued finish on the barrel rates 80-85% coverage, with thinning at the carry/handling points. The case-hardened frame retains nice case-colors, with concentrated wear to the bottom of the frame (carry point). Bores are excellent. The solid matted rib holds single front bead. Stock carries a grooved plastic buttplate. LOP: 14 1/8'', DAH: 2 1/3'', DAC: 1 3/8''. An excellent example of a late war-time/ early post-war shotgun. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
