Lefever Arms Co. Lefever Nitro Special, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1923, SN: 123753, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 30'' barrels. Standard factory markings on the barrels. The checkered round knob wood stocks are very good, having been sanded & refinished. Both side of the stock have a repaired edge chip just above the trigger guard & there are other minor handling marks to the finish. The blued finish on the barrels has worn to a mix of original blue, brown patina & metal gray. The case-hardened frame has trace amounts of case-colors in heavily protected areas, but mostly worn to metal gray, with spotting toned to a brown patina. Faded bird game scenes on both side of the frame. Bores are excellent, with visible light wear. Solid, matted rib holds a single front bead. Stock has a grooved plastic buttplate. Double triggers. LOP: 13 11/16'', DAH: 2 3/4'', DAC: 1 3/4''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 450
