De Victor Sarasqueta, Model ''Eder'', CAL; 12GA, MFG: early 1900's, SN: 214, Break Action SxS Shotgun, Choke: F/MOD, 27 3/8'' barrels. Victor Sarasqueta was a Spanish gunsmith from 1864-1930. He was chosen as the Royal gunsmith by King Alfonso XIII. This shotgun was fully & professionally restored at one time. The checkered straight grip wood stock is very good & solid. The toe has been re-shaped & there are scrapes & dings throughout. Inlaid blank silver oval initial plate in belly of stock. The restored metal blue finish on the barrels rates 85% coverage, with thinning toned to a brown patina. The case-hardned frame has fully worn to metal gray, with spotting toned to a brown patina. Bores are very good, with striations & normal wear marks from use. The matted rib holds a single front bead. Stock has a Hawkins ventilated red rubber recoil pad. LOP: 14 1/4'', DAH: 2 1/4'', DAC: 1 1/2''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
