Marlin, Model 31-20, CAL: 20 GA, MFG: 1911-23, SN: 292, Pump Action Shotgun, 28'' Matted barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked with the address/patent dates & marked ''SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL''. The model & SN are on the bottom of the frame/trigger guard. The original scalloped pistol grip stock & corncob forend are very good & solid. There are minor contusions, scrapes & areas of thinning finish. The blued finish on the barrel rates 80% coverage, with areas thinning & toning to a brown patina. The receiver rates 60% coverage, with thinning toned to a brown patina & areas worn to metal gray. Bore is good & bright, but has intermittent roughness & striations. Barrel has single front bead. Stock has a replaced checkered plastic buttplate. LOP: 13 1/8''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
