F. Heinz in Lippstadt, German Target rifle, Cal: .54, MFG: mid-late 1800s, S/N: None, Percussion rifle, 30 1/4'' octagon barrel. The hammer has been styled to look like a fish, & the trigger guard has a crossed cannon, flags, swords & drums on it. The lock plate is marked ''F. HEINZ'', ''IN LIPPSTADT''. The bore is good. bright with strong rifling, with some roughness & a concentrated spot of light pitting in the grooves. The barrel hoods a brass blade front sight with a fixed U-notch rear sight.
