Deutsche Waffen-Und Munitionsfabriken (DWM), Model: M1909 Argentino Mauser Carbine, Cal: 7.65 x 53mm Mauser, MFG: 1910, S/N: A4390, Bolt action rifle, 22'' barrel. The straight wrist wood stock is very good as having a arsenal toe repair with nail & wood dowel reinforcement. The bottom of the wrist has a old sling mount wood fill. Stock was sanded & re-finished when it was refurbished at an arsenal. Stock has a couple small nicks dings & scratches from use. The metal is proud to the wood around the magazine & upper tang. The right side of the stock, in front of the recoil lug is marked with a faded mismatched S/N. bottom of the stock has a old Interams sticker. The metal has a arsenal re-blue & rates 95% on the barrel & 85% on the receiver with areas starting to thin. Spots of roughness/cleaned pitting under the finish on the barrel. Small spots of surface rust/patina on small parts of the rifle from long storage being dry. S/N matching barrel, bolt, & magazine floorplate. The left side of the receiver is marked ''DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND'', ''MUNITIONSABRIKEN. BERLIN''. The left side of the receiver band is marked ''MAUSER MODELO'', ''ARGENTINO 1909''. The top of the receiver band is marked with the marked with the Argentina coat of arms. The right side is marked with the S/N. S/N is marked on the right rear of the barrel. The number ''7.65'' is stamped on the left side of the barrel just in front of the barrel band. The bore is good. Its bright with thinned rifling & roughness. The barrel holds a barleycorn front sight with protective ears. The rear sight is a tangent V-notch marked 2 to 14. The stock carries a steel buttplate that's left in the white. Buttplate is starting to tone a brown patina. The rifle has both left side sling loops. Rifle comes with a old Interams pamphlet. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 350 to 700
