Norinco (China), Model: Type 56 SKS, Cal: 7.62x39mm, MFG: 1990s, S/N: 150774, Semi-auto rifle, 20 '' barrel. The semi-pistol grip wood stock is excellent with some minor scuffs, nicks, & scratches. The rear of the gas tube has over applied stock varnish on it. there is a ''Kill'' notch in the bottom of the stock just in front of the rear sling loop. The metal has been re-blued & rates 90 % overall with scratches, spots of thinning & spots of light patina. The left side of the receiver is marked with the S/N, & import markings. The front of the receiver & the rear of the barrel are marked with proofs. The Bolt carrier, receiver cover, magazine & trigger guard, all have had the S/N ground/buffed off. The remains of the Bolt carrier & receiver cover S/Ns show they are mismatched. The bore is excellent, bright & mirrorlike with little to no visible wear. Chrome lined bore. The barrel holds a post front sight with a round protective hood, with a tangent U-notch rear sight marked 1 to 10 with a battle zero marked ''n''. The stock carries a steel trapdoor buttplate with a complete original cleaning kit inside. They bayonet has been removed but still has the bayonet lug & screw. Rifle has cleaning rod. Comes with surplus Chinese SKS, green canvas sling. A Beautiful example of a type 56 SKS. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
