UNIQUE SET, Colt, 1873 Single Action Army, CAL: 38 WCF, MFG: 1902, SN: 222283, Single Action Revolver, 4 3/4'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked in two lines ''COLT'S PT F.A MFG CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''38 WCF''. The left side of the frame is marked with the two line patent dates & the circled Rampant Colt logo. All matching SN on the frame, trigger guard & butt. The authentic Stag grips are excellent. The original finishes have fully worn to gun metal gray, with intermittent spotting toned to a brown patina. There are remnants of original blue in the cylinder flutes. Bore is fair, with thinned rifling, intermittent spotting, scarring & light pitting. Integral v-notch rear sight & dorsal fin blade front sight. The revolver is accompanied by a 1880's Prairie ammo belt. The belt holds a beaded holster & knife sheath, a US Indian Police badge, US Department of Indian Affairs Approved Sale tag #7 for Ammo & Rifle, & a Bureau of Indian Affairs Wyoming Territory Corpse badge. The knife sheath holds a blade marked ''Colonial Prov. USA'', with a bone handle. Blade conditon is good, with spotting toned to a brown patina. A unique set, with accoutrements.
