UNIQUE SET, Colt 1873 Single Action Army, CAL: 44, MFG: 1883, SN: 88482?, Single Action Revolver, 4 3/4'' barrel. The top barrel address has worn smooth & is not visible. The left side of the barrel is faintly marked ''44 COLT''. The left side of the frame is marked with the standard three line patent dates. The Rampant Colt logo is not visible. The left side of the trigger guard is faintly marked ''44 CAL''. Partially legible, all matching SN on the frame, trigger guard & butt. The cylinder is marked ''4706''. The polished bone grips are exellent. There are a few minor cracks around the edges. The original metal finishes have fully worn to gun metal gray. There are remnants of applied finish, thin brown patina & intermittent pitting throughout. Bore is poor, dark & rough, with consistent pitting. V-notch integral rear sight & blade front sight. This revolver is accompanied by a early 1900's Connolly Bro's tooled ammo belt & matching double looped holster. Connolly opened it's first shop in Klamath Falls, OR in the late 1800's, closed the doors in 1900, then re-opened a couple shops in Butte & Billings, MT before permanently closing the doors in 1927. This set is from the Billings location. The belt carries a black Jack Sap, a pair of unmarked handcuffs (with functional key) & an unmarked knife sheath that holds an unmarked blade with bone handle. The belt is decorated with a badge marked ''WABASH RY.CO 831 POLICE''. Another neat custom Old West set. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
