Colt, 1848 3rd Model Dragoon, CAL: 44 C&B, MFG: Modern, SN: 30391, Single Action Percussion Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The top barrel flat is marked ''ADDRESS SAM L COLT NEW-YORK CITY''. The left side of the frame is marked ''COLTS PATENT''. The full SN can be seen on the bottom of the barrel, frame, trigger guard & matching partial SN on butt. The cylinder has a crisp Ranger & Indian scene, with the matching SN between ''MODEL USMR'' & ''COLTS PATENT''. The walnut grips are excellent, near mint. The metal blue finish on the barrel & cylinder rates 99%. The case-hardned frame & ram rod display vivid case-colors. The brass trigger guard is bright. Bore is excellent. Small notch rear sight on hammer & low profile blade front sight. Modern reproduction of a Colt Dragoon Revolver. Blackpowder, No FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 550
