CASED, Colt Single Action Frontier Scout - California Bicentennial 1769-1969, CAL: 22LR, MFG: 1969, SN: 4192CB1, Single Action Revolver, 5 7/8'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked '' COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.'', the left side of the barrel is marked ''1769 CALIFORNIA BICENTENNIAL 1969'' & the right side of the barrel is marked ''COLT SINGLE ACTION FRONTIER SCOUT .22 L.R.''. The left side of the frame has the circled Rampant Colt logo. The Colt logo medallion wood grips are excellent. The gold wash finish over nickel plating is excellent. There are a few areas where the gold wash is thinning, revealing the nickel underneath, mostly concentrated to the straps. Bore is excellent. Square notch groove rear sight & blade front sight. Comes in commemorative presentation case, with a gold tone paperweight to commemorate the goldrush in the shape of California. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 900
