Ruger, Single-Six, CAL: 22LR, MFG: 1968, SN: D499860, Single Action Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked with the standard address stamp. The left side of the frame is marked in two lines ''RUGER .22CAL/ SINGLE SIX'' & Ruger Pheonix logo. The right side of the frame has the full SN. The Ruger logo medallion wood grips are excellent. The original metal blue finish rates 98% overall. Bore is excellent. Fixed square notch rear sight & round blade front sight. Comes with .22 MAG cylinder. This revolver is unique in the sense that the ''D'' prefix in the SN is actually a stamp meaning ''Duplicate Serial Number''. Duplicate Ruger Single Six serial numbers are rare but have occurred in the past, typically due to errors in production or storage. An excellent example of an original Single Six.
