Dan Wesson Arms, Model 40 SuperMag, CAL: 357 MAXIMUM, MFG: 1978-91, SN: 357MB001186, Double Action Revolver, 8'' barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked ''SUPERMAG''. The right side of the barrel is marked ''DAN WESSON ARMS/.357 MAXIMUM CTG''. The right side of the frame is marked with the address stamp & SN. The DW logo medallion wood grips are excellent. There are some minor handling marks to the finish. The medallion on the left grip appears to have popped out & a previous owner glued/tapped it back into place. The outer edge of the medallion is a little rough. The original blued finish on the barrel rates 99% & the frame rates 99% coverage, toned plum, with some hazy areas. The cylinder rates 97%, with a drag line & edge wear. Bore is excellent. Adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. FFL Req. - Value: 700 to 1000
