PARTS GUN, Stevens A & T Co., Model: Marksman 12, .22 LR Cal., MFG: 1912-15, SN: 419, Lever Action Single Shot Rifle, 20'' Barrel, The original buttstock is detached, but it & the original forend are both present & both remaing good, as having been sanded & refinished. There are several minor scratches, scrapes & contusions to the refinish. The toe of the stock & both upper shoulders have spliced in wood repairs. There is also a 2 1/2'' hairline crack on the right lower wrist. The stock screw is also present, but the threads inside the receiving end on the back of the receiver appear to be stripped. The metal blue finish on the barrel has toned a grayish/brown, with 70% coverage. The receiver is mostly silver, with polished brush marks & some brown patina. Bore is fair, with lots of roughness amongst visible rifling. Barrel carries the original fixed rear & blade front sight. Bolt present. The hammer, lever & trigger seems to lock up & function correctly. Missing the buttplate. This is a project gun. Therefore, this rifle is being sold ''AS-IS, with NO RETURNS & a recommendation for gunsmith repair. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 50 to 100
