Winchester, Model 92, marked 25-20 WCF, MFG: 1930, SN: 907858, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Round barrel, Button mag. The original wood stocks are excellent, with few minor handling marks & contusions to the excellent original finish. The original factory blue rates 98% on barrel, with just 40% remaining on the full receiver due to thinning & loss mostly on the right side, or what most collectors refer to as typical ''Winchester flaking'' of blue from this era. Bore is excellent. The rifle is fitted with a special order sight package of a Lyman 2A large disk aperture flip-up tang, adjustable rear sight & flip-up globe front sight, with ivory bead. The stock carries a smooth metal shotgun style buttplate. Tight smooth action. A fantastic original condition rifle with special order features, which makes this rifle highly collectible.
