Winchester Model 1892 SRC, CAL: .38 WCF, MFG: 1915, SN: 780210, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip gum wood stocks are excellent. There are several very minor contusions, light scratches & scrapes to the excellent original finish. This example's wood is well above average for a the softer gum era wood. The original metal blue finish rates an even 85% on barrel & 70% on mag tube. The blue on the receiver has worn or thinned to a even thin brown patina, with a majority of blue retained on the lever bolt & hammer. Bore is excellent & bright. Barrel fitted with the correct carbine adjustable flip-up ladder rear & standard carbine box front sights. Smooth metal carbine buttplate. Smooth tight action. A very nice & solid SRC in original collectors condition, FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3000 to 4000
