Winchester Model 1892 SRC, CAL: .25-20 WCF, MFG: 1916, SN: 807825, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are good, having been sanded & refinished. There are several long running tight grain cracks/pops on the sides of the stock, as well as the remains several minor contusions & scratches. There is a larger right side of wrist corner fill & some added fill along the edges of tang & receiver. Also a 1/4'' chip at the top of buttplate tang at comb. Stocks still present well. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with remnants of original blue remaining in more protected areas. Some orange peel or light pitting on left side of receiver & barrel. Bore is excellent & bright. Barrel fitted with the correct carbine adjustable flip-up ladder rear sight & a 94-C extended blade carbine box front sight. Smooth metal carbine buttplate. Smooth tight action. A well used but solid old SRC with lots of life & an excellent bore. Great shooter hunter. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
