Winchester, Model 1894, marked 38-55, MFG: 1907, SN: 373756, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Round Barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are excellent, with several minor scuffs, scratches or contusions to the thinning original finish. There is a small corner repair at the right upper corner of wrist. The original factory metal blue finish rates 30% on barrel & receiver, 70% blue on the mag tub. The case-hardened lever & hammer display faint remnants of case-colors. Bore is excellent. The rifle is fitted with a special order sight package of a Lyman flip-up tang sight, two leaf folding rear sight & a unique flip-up aperture over bead front sight. Original crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. An excellent & original condition rifle, with strong collectability. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2500 to 3500
