Winchester, Model 88, marked Cal. 308 WIN, MFG. 1959, SN: 91160, Lever Action Rifle, 22'' Round barrel, Pre-64, The checkered & capped pistol grip wood stock is original & excellent. This example has the early diamond cut checkering. There are several minor scrapes, scratches & contusions to the original finish, which is thinning a bit from use. The original metal blue finish is 95% overall. Bore is excellent. The barrel carries a folding rear sight & ramped front sight. Top of receiver has the four factory hole currently vacant. The stock carries the original checkered plastic buttplate. Sling studs. A very nice original condition example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
