Marlin, Model 36-A-DL, CAL: 30-30, MFG: 1947, SN: 10447, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' barrel, 2/3rds mag. The checkered & flat pistol grip wood stocks are very good & solid. They upper comb of the stock has been reshaped with a chin dish, & the stock appear to have been lightly sanded & refinished. They appear fairly dry & there are several minor handling marks, scratches & contusions remaining. The metal blue finish rates 70% overall. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries a Lyman side mounted receiver sight, while the barrel carries Redfield blank filled rear dovetail & a ramp elevated long blade front sight. Stock carries a plastic buttplate, which has large broken chunks missing from the heal & toe. Detachable sling loops in studs. A quality lever action hunting rifle.
