Marlin, Model 444 100 Year Anniversary Limited Edition, marked 444 Marlin Cal., MFG. 1970, SN: 70113558, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel, 4 Shot 1/2 mag., The factory straight grip Monte Carlo wood stocks are excellent, with very few handling marks to the excellent original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 98% overall. Fitted with a Redfield 4X scope, while the barrel carries flip-up rear & ramped front sights. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a Marlin 1870/1970 quarter sized gold toned 100 year medallion & a trademark bullseye in belly. The stock carries the original Marlin ventilated recoil pad. Action is smooth & tight. Sling studs in stock & on forend barrel band. Gold trigger. Hammer extender. These 100 yr rifles produced just the one year are fairly rare & sought amongst collectors.
