Marlin, Model 62 Levermatic, CAL: 256 WIN MAG, CAL: 1963-69, SN: 8034, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel. The capped, flat pistol grip Monte Carlo style wood stock is excellent. It displays very few light surface scratches or handling marks to its excellent original finish. There is a 1'' stress/grain crack along the right side buttend. The metal blue finish rates 90% overall. The Micro Grooved bore is excellent. The rifle comes fitted with scope rings, while the barrel has an open rear dovetail & screw filled front sight provisions. Buttstock carries the original Marlin marked checkered black plastic buttplate. Sling swivels. Missing the Marlin trademark bullseye from the belly of the stock. Jeweled bolt. Original detachable mag. An original & excellent overall example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
