Savage, Model 99, CAL: 300 SAV, MFG: 1947, SN: 501611, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Tapered round barrel. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks excellent. There are a few minor handling marks & contusions remaining to the excellent finish. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 90% 50% on the receiver. The case-hardened lever retains very nice case-colors. Bore is very good. The receiver has three screw filled holes along the top for scope block. Comes with packages of Weaver top mount bases #14 & 19 for Savage 99 rifles. The barrel holds a blank filled rear dovetail & the original ramp elevated blade front sight. The stock carries the original grooved metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
