U.S. Repeating Arms Co., Winchester Licensee, Reproduction of a Winchester 1885 Sporting Rifle, .22 LR Cal., MFG. Modern, SN:000EFH1029, Lever Action Single Shot Rifle, 24 1/2'' Half octagon half round barrel. The deluxe factory select grain & checkered walnut stocks are excellent, with a few minor handling scuffs or contusions to the excellent original finish. Ebony tipped Schnabel forend. The receiver displays fine scroll & leaf machine engraving, with gold borders & gold figures of squirrels & rabbits amongst a wooded scenery. The original metal blue finish is 99% on barrel, receiver, lever & hammer. Bore is excellent. Fitted with the factory smooth crescent metal buttplate. Barrel carries the factory adjustable rear & large blade front sight. An excellent, original & collectible throwback rifle. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 1750
