Winchester, Model 70, CAL: marked 243 WIN, MFG. 19550 (Pre-64), SN: 340661, 22'' Round barrel. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, having been lightly sanded & expertly refinished. There are several light contusions, rubs & scratches to the finish. The metal blue finishes rate 95% overall, with loss due mostly to some light abrasions on the left side of the barrel. The trigger guard appears to have been reblued at time of wood refinish. Bore is excellent. The receiver carries a vintage Redfield 3x-9x scope, while the barrel is fitted with a folding leaf rear sight & ramped front sight. The stock carries a checkered widow's peak metal buttplate. Sling swivels. A very nice pre-64 model 70 hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
