Winchester, Model 70 Featherweight, CAL: marked 308 WIN, MFG. 1960 (Pre-64), SN: 472977, 22'' Round tapered barrel. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, but the factory finish is flaking & wearing thin in areas. There are other light contusions, rubs & scratches to the original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 90% on barrel & receiver, while the floorplate is worn mostly gun metal gray. Bore is excellent & bright. The factory holes on the top of the receiver are open from previous scope mounting, while the barrel has an open rear dovetail & ramped front sight. Wider trigger shoe added to trigger. The stock carries the a Pachmayr White-Line ventilated recoil pad. Sling loops. A used pre-64 model 70 featherweight rifle, with lots of hunting trips left in it's future.
