Winchester, Model 70, CAL: marked 30-06 SPFLD, MFG. 1955 (Pre-64), SN: 329609, 24'' Round barrel. This rifle was fully & professionally refinished. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, as nicely refinished. The hand cut checkering was very nicely retraced & sharpened up. There are virtually no handling marks to the excellent finish. The metal blue finishes have been restored rating 98% overall, with full stampings remaining, but with an area of cleaned pitting under the blue about 6'' from muzzle. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries a Leupold Gold Ring VX-2 3-9x40 scope, while the barrel is fitted with a folding leaf rear sight & ramped front sight. Stock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. Sling loops. A sharp appearing pre-64 model 70 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
