CALIBER UPDATED 8/19/2025: Remington Model 722, CAL: 222 REM, MFG: 1948-61, SN: 447433, Bolt Action Rifle, 26 1/4'' barrel. The replaced custom, cheeked & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo style wood stock is good & solid. It appears to need a final sanding & finish, as the wood remains raw. There are a few minor scratches & contusions. The metal blue finish rates 80% overall, with the finish on the floorplate less & toning plum as it thins. Bore is excellent. The rifle carries a period correct Norman-Ford Texan 4X scope, mounted on Redfield block & rings. The barrel has an open rear dovetail & a ramped blade front sight. The stock has not yet received a buttplate or recoil pad. Sling studs. A nice project rifle that need a bit of finishing to have a great varmint rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 400
