ENGRAVED CUSTOM Remington, Model 1903 Action, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1942, SN: 3120239, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' barrel. The custom cheeked & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is excellent. It has an ebony style forend tip. There is an inlay of wood in front of the bolt handle to fill a previous cutout. The wood shows several minor scrapes, scratches & contusions to the finish. The metal displays scroll & foliage hand engraving to the receiver, barrel, floorplate & trigger guard, with the floorplate also featuring a stag head, The receiver has a unique bronze tone finish, while the barrel & other metal components have a traditional blue finish, which is excellent. Bore is excellent. The receiver carries a Lyman Perma Center All-American 20X scope, while the barrel has no open sight provisions. Buttstock carries a Pachmayr White-Line ventilated recoil pad. Sling studs. A nicely built custom bolt action rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
