Remington, Model 8, .35 Rem Cal, MFG. 1926, SN: 52810, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are excellent, having been cleaned, lightly sanded & an added layer of oil finish was placed over what remained of the original finish. There are still the remains of several minor scuffs, scratches & contusions to the wood & finish. The original metal blue finish rates 85% on barrel, 80% on the receiver, with the bluing toning a bit more to a plum brown on the receiver & mag. Bore is excellent. The barrel carries a standard adjustable rear sight & a Marble No. 6 blade front sight. Stock carries the bottom tang serrated crescent metal buttplate. 4 round fixed magazine. Tight smooth action. A very nice looking & good hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 800
