Remington, Model 8, .30 Rem Cal, MFG. 1934, SN: 66869, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are excellent & solid. There are several minor to small scrapes, scratches & contusions to the wood & original finish, which has thinned from use & now carries an additional protective layer. The original metal blue finish rates 70% on the receiver, 85% on the barrel, with an area of cleaned pitting on the forward left side of the barrel which is covered with an added blue finish. Bore is very good. The receiver is fitted with a Marbles flip-up tang sight, while the barrel carries a Marble's filler blank in the rear sight provision & a standard blade front sight. Stock carries the popular bottom tang serrated crescent metal buttplate. 5 round fixed magazine. Tight smooth action. A very nice presenting standard rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
