Pac-West Arms (PWA), Model: Commando (M16A2 configuration), Cal: 5.56 x 45mm, MFG: Early-Mid 1980s, S/N: 29680, Semi-auto rifle, 20'' barrel. The M16A2 style polymer buttstock, pistol grip & handguard rate very good to excellent with scuffs & scratches from use. More concentrated scuffs & scratches on bottom of pistol grip & the end of the handguard. The gray parkerized finish on the barrel & upper receiver rates 92% with scuffs, scratches, paint transferring scratches, & wear from use. The black paint finish on the lower receiver rates 95% with a few minor scuffs & scratches from use. The bolt release sends the bolt forward with any sharp jolt to the firearm. There is some light rust spots inside the chmaber & on some other steel compentes from being in stoarge without cleaning for a time. The bore is excellent, its bright & shiny with minor wear from light use. The rifle holds the standard M16A2 sights with a elevation adjustable post front sight with protective ears on the gas block. The receiver carries a M16A2 fixed carry handle with a fully adjustable aperture rear sight. The buttstock has a checkered black plastic buttplate with a trapdoor for cleaning supplies, nothing inside the trapdoor. Rifle has both bottom sling loops, has the bayonet lug, & comes with one aluminum 30 Rd. magazine. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
