Remington, Model 40-X, Target Rifle (RANGEMASTER), CAL: .22 LR, MFG: 1950-64, SN: 23123B, Bolt Action Rifle, 28'' Heavy target barrel. Carries the ''U.S.'' stamping on the left side of the receiver. The original flat pistol grip target wood stock is excellent, with minor scrapes, scratches & dings to the original finish. Has the factory bolt groove on the forward of the comb. The belly of the forend has an integrated rail with hand rest. The original metal blue finish rates 90% overall. Bore is excellent. The receiver is fitted with a Weaver 36X40 scope, with screw-on caps, mounted on Leupold base & rings. The barrel carries front & rear scope bases. The stock carries a White-Line recoil pad. A very nice Remington target rifle. FF or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1400
