American Gun Co. SxS Shotgun, CAL: 12GA, MFG: Early 1900's, SN: 336024, Break Action, Choke: F/IC, 2 3/4'' chamber, 29 3/4'' barrels. American Gun Company was a trade name used by Sears on rebranded Crescent Firearms in the early 1900's. Factory marking on the right side of the receiver. The original checkered round knob wood stocks are good & solid. There are scratches, scrapes, dings & a couple cracks coming off the back of the side plates. The metal blue finish on the barrels has worn to metal gray, with consistent spotting & pitting toned to a brown patina. The receiver has also fully worn to metal gray, with areas toned to a brown patina. Bores are very good, with visible wear from honest use. The solid matted rib holds a single front bead. Stock carries a checkered plastic buttplate. Double triggers. Mechanical operation appears to function properly. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
