Winchester, Model 1897 Take-Down, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1909, SN: 453548, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: Full, 2 3/4'', 30'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip stock & corncob forend are very good & solid, however much of the original finish has worn away & the wood has darkened from use & oils. There minor to small scrapes, scratches & contusions to the wood & finish. The original metal blue finish rates 80% on the barrel toning plum, while the receiver & mag tube have worn mostly gun metal gray with a thin brown patina. Bore is very good. Barrel holds a single front bead. Stock carries the original plastic buttplate, with a small edge chip on the left side. LOP 13 3/4''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
