RARE Winchester, Model 42 SKEET, 410 GA., MFG. 1950, SN: 97199, Pump action, 2 1/2'' Chamber, Choke: Rare ''SKEET'' marking, 27 1/2'' Ribbed barrel, including the Cutts choke. This gun appears to be professionally restored. The original checkered & capped pistol grip stocks are excellent, as having been cleaned & the original finish touched up in area. There is a small edge chip repair on the left side buttend against the buttplate. They carry very few tiny finish level blemishes. The checkering remains sharp & the stocks' overall appearance is excellent. The restored metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with the right side panel toning plum. The SN on the barrel appear to be restamped. Bore is excellent. The barrel & rib carry a single front bead. Buttstock carries the original Winchester buttplate. An overall excellent restored condition SKEET 42. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 3000
