Winchester, Model 42 TWO BARREL SET, 410 GA., MFG. 1950, SN: 92312, Pump action, 3'' Chamber, Choke: MOD & FULL markings, 26'' & 28'' barrels. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. There are numerous minor to small scrapes, scratches & contusions to the original thinning finish, with mostly of this wear to the belly of the stock. The original metal blue finish on the MOD barrel rates 90%, 80% on mag tube. The original finish on the FULL barrel rates 80% on barrel & mag tube. The original blue finish on the receiver rates 60%. MOD bore is excellent, while the FULL bore is very good. The MOD barrel is SN'd to the receiver, while the FULL barrel has a circle ''P'' proof stamping & is not SN'd to the receiver. Both barrels carry a single front bead. Buttstock carries a Winchester checkered plastic buttplate. A very nice original condition two barrel set. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 2000
