Remington, Model 870 Wingmaster, CAL: 12 GA 2 3/4'', MFG: 1978-96, SN: T858740V, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: Cyl, 20'' Barrel. The wood stock and forend are excellent, solid with minimal wear. The blued finish on the frame rates 99% with minimal wear. The blued finish on the barrel has almost full coverage but has toned to a mix of original blue and dark brown patina. The finish on the magazine tube is very good with some wear from use. The magazine tube has a Choate Machine & Tool Co. extension and barrel clamp. The receiver has an aftermarket mounting lug bolted to the side of it. Bore is excellent, bright and smooth. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a front bead sight, the top of the receiver has serrations to reduce glare. The stock has a Remington factory ventilated recoil pad. LOP is 14'' over pad.
