BOXED, Remington, Model 1100 - Diamond Anniversary: Limited Edition One of Three Thousand. CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1980, SN: LE80-0101, Semi Auto Shotgun, in 1981 Remington introduced in their catalog ''The First Model 1100 in the Collector's Field, a factory custom ordered 1100 to honor the ''75 years in pursuit of excellence in autoloading shotguns. This gun came to us NIB, not assembled. We were the first ones to assemble it for photography purposes. The original checkered, capped pistol grip stocks are mint. The original blued finish on the barrel rates 100% & the Japan black receiver rates 100%. The gold inlays are mint. The right side of the receiver displays a gold inlay Model 11/ Model 1100 & there is a gold border around the wording. The left side of the receiver displays a gold inlay bird hunting game scene. Bore is mint. The ventilated rib holds a single white front bead. Stock has a Remington brown rubber recoil pad. Comes in original commemorative box, with related paperwork.
