J.C. Higgins, Sears, Roebuck And Co., Model 101.40, CAL: 410 GA 3'', MFG: 1946-60, SN: None, Tip Up Single Shot Shotgun, Choke: Mod, 25 3/4'' Barrel. The wood stock and forend are very good, near excellent, solid with a couple of very small dings and scratches. High handling wear areas on the wood have darkened. The receiver has worn to a gun metal grey with light, even, speckled patina. The barrel has worn to a mix of gun metal grey and thin original blue with some areas being toned to a light brown patina. Bore is excellent, bright and smooth. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a front bead sight, there is a rear sight notch cut into the top of the receiver. The stock has a serrated plastic buttplate. LOP is 14''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
