National Ordnance Inc., Model: M1 Carbine, Cal: .30 Carbine, MFG: 1960s-70s, S/N: 36379, Semi-auto rifle, 18'' barrel. The semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good with some nicks, dings, & scratched from use. The blued finish on the barrel rates 90% with some thinning & wear. The receiver is a bronze/brown color. The left side of the receiver is marked SO.EL MONTE. CAL.. The receiver band is marked ''U.S. CARBINE'', ''CAL .30 M1''. The rear of the receiver is marked with the S/N, ''NATL ORD, INC.''. The bore is excellent. Bright & shiny with little no visible wear. The barrel holds a wide blade front sight with protective ears. White paint added to front blade. The rear of the receiver holds a adjustable aperture rear sight marked out to 300 yards. The stock carries a steel buttplate, has finish wear around edges. Rifle has left side sling mount/well with the oiler bottle in stock. Rifle comes with a green canvas sling & a 5 Rd. mag. A nice commercial production M1 carbine. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 1200
